Ruth Latham

Ruth Latham is a strategy consulting leader and independent engineer with extensive experience supporting the implementation of green technologies in transportation. She has built her career bridging engineering, purchasing, marketing, finance, and manufacturing functions to identify cost-reduction opportunities, improve profitability, and solve complex, cross-functional problems.
She has spent more than two decades working on the commercialization of emission reduction technologies, with cross functional experience in Product Strategy, R&D, Process Improvement, Purchasing, Finance, Quality, Supply Chain. Ruth has focused the last ten years in Strategy Consulting helping governments, companies and investors understand and mitigate the technical risks associated with major technology commercialization projects in electrification and powertrain improvement.
Ruth holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan Stephen M. Ross School of Business, a Master of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Victoria (Algorithm Development for Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy Failure Mode Detection in Polymer Electrolyte Fuel Cells), and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Lake Superior State University.
