Battery Engineering and Product Development Expert
A highly experienced Mechanical Engineer and Engineering Team Manager, Scott brings 25+ years of experience to Treetown Tech’s battery team, where he leads battery module and pack design and product development. Scott’s major strengths include product design leadership from concept to production, CAD, FEA, and core engineering disciplines while managing supplier relationships, validation testing, and quality assurance.

Prior to Treetown Tech and partnering with AVICENNE, Scott was Senior Engineering Manager for Battery Product Development at Navitas Systems (2019-2023) where he provided technical and management leadership to the engineering team responsible for the design of multiple lithium-ion battery systems. Scott ran a multidisciplinary team with responsibilities including mechanical design and simulation, electrical engineering, embedded software engineering, and advanced manufacturing.
Battery product development programs include the 6T vehicle battery, the conformal wearable soldier battery, and an aviation battery—all for U.S. Army. Past positions include senior and consulting engineering roles at EvoQ, Hyundai, and Johnson Controls.
