Dr. Soeren Striepe is an independent consultant with two decades of experience in the space of advanced batteries for transportation applications. He provides guidance to companies and institutions which are developing their business related to Li-Ion battery technology. His services give essential insights into technology development, application requirements, system design, manufacturing processes and the industry value chain.

Soeren offers advisory services based on his expertise from 30+ years in automotive product development, manufacturing engineering, project management, technology scouting, business development and business unit leadership. He has directed advanced automotive powertrain development projects, with a focus on EV Li-Ion battery rechargeable energy storage systems. Soeren has led projects in collaboration between leading OEMs, Tier1s, SMEs and Start-Ups. At the onset of the ‘journey’ of the successful application of Li-Ion technology in electric vehicles he managed a pioneering battery development JV comprised of a global team of experts and setting up a North American large format battery cell pilot plant operation.
